Villa Sol y Luna is a large and airy dwelling on the exquisite beach of Playa del Secreto. This gated community with only a handful of private homes boasts a wide expanse of immaculate white sand beach. No rocks or sea grass will impede your views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
Villa Sol -ground floor- has three bedrooms with air conditioning, four full bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. A large terrace facing seaside is a wonderful gathering place at mealtimes, or for a restful sojourn in the hammocks and comfortably casual sofas.
Villa Luna -upper floor- has three bedrooms with air conditioning, four full bathrooms, living room, dining room and kitchen. There is an ample terrace overlooking the sea supplied with hammocks and lovely group seating. A semi-covered rooftop terrace offers breathtaking panoramic views of the aquamarine waters or the poignant intensity of our Caribbean sunsets.
For groups exceeding six guests, an interior stairway connects both villas so it may be converted into a very spacious six bedroom/eight bathroom villa. To accommodate larger groups, Villa Sol y Luna has a bungalow with three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a living-dining room with kitchenette on the upper floor. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and living-dining room.
A lighted swimming pool and Jacuzzi are flanked by an invitingly shady palm grove and a sand floor playground. Or if you’re looking for a rest, the hammocks and lounge chairs are waiting for you.
Adjacent to the swimming pool there is a thatched roof kitchen-bar with refrigerator, a gas and coal barbeque, and stools for enjoying a relaxing family meal.
Villa Sol y Luna has all the amenities you require to be absolutely comfortable. Broadband internet, VOIP telephone service, satellite TV, video games and DVD movies will fulfill your needs, whether it be a mix of work and pleasure or pure pleasure! The staff lives on-site and is always there to serve you, while respecting your privacy.
The services of our international chef may be arranged for an additional fee. We offer an excellent menu if you prefer a vacation with no cooking chores.
For those who may tire of the peaceful beauty of Playa del Secreto and want to mingle with people, Cancun is only 30 minutes away. Playa del Carmen is just 20 minutes south, and Puerto Morelos is five minutes from the villa. Each of these vibrant towns offers a variety of gourmet restaurants, cafes, shopping and nightlife.
Policies: Villa is available for Weddings/Social Events. The staff lives on-site and is always there to serve you, while respecting your privacy. Over 18 guests at $250/week. Chef service at $40 US per person for 2 meals per day.
