Casa Nalum is located inside the biosphere reserve of Sian Kaan along a dazzling white sandy beach on the Mexican Rivera. The villa sets new standards of eco-design and comfort and provides full services to the most discerning guests.

The Biosphere Reserve of Sian Kaan translates to "where the sky is born" in Mayan. Established in 1986, it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and faces the challenges of integrating human activities without compromising other forms of life contained. The reserve encompasses approximately 1.3 million acres and size and spans some 120 kilometers from north to south and covers almost one third of the Caribbean coast of Mexico. It is home to 103 known mammal species, 336 known bird species and is an important nesting site of two endangered sea turtle species. The reserve is believed to have been inhabited in the pre-Classic and Classic periods as part of the chieftainships of Cohuah and Uaymil and there are twenty three known archaeological sites inside the reserve.

The barrier reef is located within swimming distance and at the back of the property, the lagoon connects to ancient Mayan canals.

Casa Nalum is set on 2.5 acres of private land within the Biosphere. It is completely immersed with nature and has at it's front door the tranquil waters of the sparkling Caribbean Sea and the back which connects to ancient Mayan canals and ruins. Casa Nalum offers distinctive architecture with its terracotta walls and palapa roof-lines.

The villa offers many areas in which to relax, read or sunbathe. The roof top terrace offers spectacular views of both the Caribbean Sea and the lagoon while the white sandy beach invites swimmers and snorkelers.

The spacious living area is at the center of the villa and offers a large built in-sofa . It is the perfect spot to enjoy table games, watch films on its 120 inch cinema screen, listen to music or just savor the views of the sea.

The villa has three air-conditioned bedrooms. and two bathrooms (ecological restrictions of the reserve). The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a king sized bed as well as it's own furnished terrace. On the other side, the farther bedrooms offer a king sized bed and two double beds, a terrace, two balconies and the shared bathroom.

Rental of the villa includes all meals and great importance is given to good dining at the villa and dining may be enjoyed either in the formal dining room or many other areas such as the roof top deck, the many terraces or even the beach. Cuisine may be custom tailored but is based on a Mexican-European mix with special attention paid to using only the freshest of ingredients.

Rental of Casa Nalum includes complementary airport transfers, all meals, Swedish massage for all adult guests, complementary Aveda beauty/spa products, full staff of butler, maid, cook and gardener as well as a private excursion to the Mayan canals.
